This is the University of Delaware 1970 team that made it to the NCAA tournament losing to Penn State 2-1 in the Regional Quarterfinals, Nov 17th. This team had a record of 9-2-2 and were the Mid-Atlantic Conference West Champions. There only 2 loses were to Penn State and to West Chester in the Mid-Atlantic Championship (0-3), 3 days after the loss to Penn State. Here are their results:

The NCAA was won by St.Louis this year, defeating UCLA 1-0, and the Hermann Trophy went to Al Trost of St. Louis.
